We are accepting Teacher Substitute applications through March 21, 2008.

We are always accepting applications for Nurse Substitutes.

To substitute teach,
an applicant must have the following:
 
  • 30 Semester Hours of College
    (Nurse subsitutes must have an LVN or RN License)
  
  • Criminal Background Check (If you have not lived in Texas continuously for the past year, you must submit a fingerprint based criminal history background check. You may pick up a fingerprint card from the Personnel office).
  
  • Attend a Substitute Orientation

  21+ Days: $70.00/day
Substitute Orientation Dates: Long Term Sub: $90.00/day
TBA Unfilled Position: $160.00/day
*(Applicants who meet the above requirements, will receive notification)  
Substitutes attending orientation should bring the following items: Driver's License, Social Security Card and a copy of transcript showing a minimum of 30 semester hours. Substitutes who have TB Test Results may bring them, otherwise they will be required to fill out a TB Questionnaire at orientation.
